Case Study – Policies & Procedures

AngioDynamics Inc - Medical Devices organization

The Brief:
The Med devices organization was an amalgamation of a number of different local organizations with no or different terms and conditions. Our consultant was tasked with developing a new set of HR local and international policies.

The Solution:
In order to achieve the highest degree of efficiency, our consultant established a relationship with number of key players across the organization who undertook the final reviews and decision making. She audited their current situation, proposed newly developed policies & procedures at local and international level. She trained local business managers and HR administrative people how to use the newly developed policies and procedures.

The Outcome:
The client received a full suite of HR Policies which had been agreed with all sides, prior to implementation. The difficulty of consultation was minimized by bringing in an external consultant. The existing staff, who were already busy developing all aspects of the HR system, where not pulled from their own projects in order to develop these polices, but still had the opportunity to be involved in the process.
